DECISION

NO. 02/2002/QD-BKHCN OF OCTOBER 25, 2002 ELIMINATING THE GOODS ITEM OF VEGETABLE CRUDE OILS FROM THE LIST OF IMPORT AND EXPORT GOODS SUBJECT TO STATE QUALITY INSPECTION

THE MINISTER OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

Pursuant to the Ordinance on Goods Quality of December 24, 1999;
Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 22/CP of May 22, 1993 on the tasks, powers and organizational apparatus of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment (now the Ministry of Science and Technology);
Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 86/CP of December 8, 1995 prescribing the assignment of responsibilities for State management over goods quality;
At the proposal of the Ministry of Health in Official Dispatch No. 7901/YT-QLTP of September 20, 2002;
At the proposal of the General Director of Standardization, Metrology and Quality Control,

DECIDES:

Article 1.- To change the provisions applicable to the goods item of vegetable oils under Headings No. 1507, 1508, 1509, 1511 and 1515, Section 1.1 of the List of import and export goods subject to State quality inspection, issued together with Decision No. 117/2000/QD-BKHCNMT of January 26, 2000 of the Minister of Science, Technology and Environment (now the Ministry of Science and Technology) as follows: Not to conduct the State quality inspection of imported vegetable crude oils.

Article 2.- This Decision takes effect 15 days after its signing.

Article 3.- The General Director of Standardization, Metrology and Quality Control and the concerned State agencies shall organize, guide and inspect the implementation of this Decision.
