DECISION 

RE: CEASE OF TEMPORARY IMPORT FOR RE-EXPORT AND TRANSITION OF FINISHED WOOD PRODUCTS FROM VIETNAM TO THE US AND REGULATIONS ON TEMPORARY IMPORT FOR RE-EXPORT OF SASSAFRAS OIL UNDER THE MINISTRY OF TRADE’S LICENCE

MINISTER OF TRADE

Pursuant to Decree 29/2004/ND-CP dated January 16, 2004 by the Government detailing functions, tasks, powers and organization of the Ministry of Trade;
Pursuant to Decree 12/2006/ND-CP dated January 23, 2006 by the Government detailing implementation of the Trade Law’s regulations on international buying and selling activities, agent activities, transition of goods with foreign countries;
Pursuant to the Prime Minister’s guidelines as specified in Document 1605/VPCP-KHDT dated March 29, 2006 by the Governmental Office on administration on international buying and selling activities, agent activities, transition of goods;
Upon on agreement with the Ministry of Public Security in Document 978/V11 (VPU) dated June 8, 2006 on coordination in administration over trading of sarsaparilla oil,

HEREBY DECIDES:

Article 1. Cease of temporary import for re-export and transition of finished wood products from Vietnam to the US continues.

Article 2. A licence issued by the Ministry of Trade is required for temporary import for re-export of sassafras oil.

Article 3. Decision 1318/2005/QD-BTM dated April 29, 2005 by the Minister of Trade on abolishment of Decision 0971/2004/QD-BTM dated July 14, 2004 by the Minister of Trade; cease of temporary import for re-export and transition of finished wood products and conditions on imports of half-finished wood products for further export processing and production.
