DECREE
PROVIDING THE MINIMUM WAGE LEVEL IN ENTERPRISES
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government of September 30, 1992;
Pursuant to the Labor Code of June 23, 1994;
At the proposal of the Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs,
DECREES:
Article 1.- To stipulate the minimum wage level of 180,000 VND/month applicable to the laborers working in enterprises operating under the State Enterprises Law and in enterprises operating under the Enterprises Law.
1. For the State enterprises operating under the State Enterprises Law, the level of the social insurance and health insurance payment and enjoyment by the workers and employees shall be calculated according to the wage coefficients specified in the Governments Decree No. 26/CP of May 23, 1993 and the minimum wage level specified in Article 1 of this Decree.

Article 3.- The Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs shall coordinate with the Ministry of Finance in guiding the implementation of this Decree.
Article 4.- This Decree takes effect as from January 1st, 2000.
Article 5.- The ministers, the heads of the ministerial-level agencies, the heads of the agencies attached to the Government, the presidents of the Peoples Committees of the provinces and centrally-run cities shall have to implement this Decree.
